I'm gonna keep it

I'm aware that the title of this sounds like I'm talking about a baby or something..haha. But don't worry, I haven't got a bun in the oven yet ;) I'm talking about this blog. The other day I was looking back at my more recent posts and just thought the whole thing was really cringey. I'm always reluctant to tell people I have a blog (not that anyone asks or would want to read it haha) because I just think what I write is pretty stupid and meaningless and I haven't been enjoying doing posts. But  I was just looking through some posts from 2011/year 10 which seem like such a long time ago. It was sooo cool to read back on them! Like I used to go into so much depth, and start off posts with lame things like "hey peeps of da internet" and entitle blogs "happy days" and go into all the reasons why I laughed that day and write what my favourite song was each time I posted, and talk about what me and Emma were discussing on Facebook! All these little, stupid things that are so nice to read back on, almost like nostalgic. It's verrrrry nearly 2013, I've been doing this blogging thing for more than two years now!! It's craazzaaaayy and although I probably won't do loads and loads of regular posting from now on, I'm not gonna delete this. No matter how awful my grammar used to be or how pointless my in depth posting was, it's great to be able to read back and see! There's even some pictures I uploaded which got deleted with my old laptop that are on here, like this one:
We all look so happy and it's just a nice photo and awww, this is put me in a gooooood mood.

Anyway, this was pointless and badly written but whoooooooo cares?! Maybe in another couple of years time I'll be here writing a post about how nostalgic I felt whilst reading this post! (Did that even make sense?!)

I'm gonna go now to watch Santa Clause 2 (best Santa Clause film out of the three ;)) and enjoy Christmas and my old blog posts and the last days of term.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loads of stuff about me no one really cares about

I've had a song called 'sink or swim' stuck in my head for dayssss. It's by this really cool artist singer YouTube guy called Lewis Watson, he's just released an album and it's so good and his voice is oh so lovely and soothing and just nice.

I'm not feeling very well at the moment..as my Dad would put it I've 'burnt the candle at both ends' that expression is just so annoying because he always says it. I guess it's kinda true though, I've been going to bed pretty late and have been pretty busy and yeah...I hope I feel better tomorrow although I'll probably feel worse, this is almost like the calm before the storm. Oh man, so many stupid expressions haha. I'm tempted to come home at lunch time tomorrow because I don't have any lessons in the afternoon, I did that last week though and James got really annoyed because he said I was skiving and not being a good student and I don't really want to make a habit of it. But I guess I'll just see how I feel tomozza....this blog has been incredibly boring so far...

Ooooh it was Will's 18th birthday yesterday! Woooooo, he doesn't even read this but HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR YESTERDAY WILL! We all went to his house and played table football and just generally had a gooooood time. And then we went to Ask, it was annoying though I ended up feeling really sick after the meal and having to leave early...oh noes. And then I slept so badly because I just felt pretty sick and eurrrrghhhh. If 'eurrgghghh' was an emotion it would be exactly how I felt yesterday ;) Wow, I should rename this blog "Anna's complaints."

I'm trying to get a job at the moment...I need money...I applied in Next the other day and in Matalan and in Ask so fingers crossed some where will call me back! I do also live right next to this abbey which used to be where a load of nuns lived and now it's turned into like an events/conference centre place, I went there the other day and tried to get a job as like a waitress or something and had a chat with the manager dude there which was cool. He was really nice and said they'll 'find something for me' so that's kinda promising. It's good also because they work on a 0 hour basis which basically means there's no set hours, it's just sort of as and when they need me to help out in the evenings and tings so it's nothing too heavy or serious or 'YOU HAVE TO WORK THIS MANY HOURS A  WEEK FOREVER' kind of thing! Wow, this is all just random crap about me..sorry..sorry..sorry non existent people who read this....

We have the day off on Friday which is awesome and Macbeth is being performed that evening which is doubly awesome..wooppp wooppp.

Anyway I'm going to rehearsal tonight for the Christmas light switch on thingy...I best go and get ready...have a nice life. xx

P.S I like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa5aaA-zvxY&feature=g-u-u it reminded me of what Emma wrote in her POST

Good afternoon...

What's been going onnnnnn?
Well not much really, these past weeks have gone by so quickly..like it's almost the end of November..in fact no..it's almost Christmas. Jezzzzzzuuuzzz. There's nothing very interesting happening at the moment to be honest, that's sort of why I delayed writing anymore posts, not out of laziness or busyness just because there's nothing really to say.

Having said that I did go on a Philosophy trip to Birmingham (I know, we had to travel so far ;)) last week and that was pretty cool. Heather and I spent the day together which was nice, we got lost in the rain during lunch time and just had general laughs ;) and the actual content of the trip was good too. We basically went there just to see this guy called Peter Vardy do some lecutre's about God. Now for people who hate religion and all that stuff..you would have hated this. I'm not gonna lie I hated some of it, some talks were extremely boring but a lot were pretty darnnn interesting. On the surface, if you don't believe in it yourself, believing in God seems completely absurd and stupid and like why would anyone ever waste there time believing in something when there's no evidence for it? But when you actually learn about it you think "wow, I totally get that" and you sort of stop being so ignorant to it...and yeah..that's always nice.

That was really boring and nerdy..sorry.

I really can't think of anything else to say...hmm oohh I'm going to see the school musical this weekend which should be coooool. It's 'we will rock you' which means Queen music and dancing and craazzaay costumes. I really can't wait and everyone in it has worked soo hard for it so I bet it'll be a fab. Macbeth is being performed next week too, I'm gonna be selling tickets and generally helping out there...we're performing in a church will make it all sinister and cool and I really, really hope it's good.
It's the Christmas light switch on thingy soon too. I'm doing a devised street theatre thingy with Perfect Circle to perform there, it's the first rehearsal tonight which I'm strangely nervous for. I think it's because I'm SHIT AT DEVISED PIECES, like seriously I have no imagination whatsoever and there's only a few people doing it and I don't want to let everyone down by just being shit...we'll see though, I'm sure I'll be fine right? Yeah..yeah...it'll be great Haha!

I think that's the end of this post, I need to go eat something.

xx

First day back

Well hello.
It was the first day back after half term today (hence the original title.) It was so great and nice not to have to get up in darkness and just good. I didn't want it to end!
Lot's of stuff happened...first off my birthday meallll, waaaaahoooo. I was worried it might end up being a bit awkward because not everybody knew each other but it turned out to be fine and just a good ol' laugh. Then there was the Perfect Circle comedy evening which guess what?! Was funnnnnnnnaaaay! Like seriously it was. I admire anyone who can stand up on a stage and  make people laugh, I'm quite confident and  can act but I don't think I'd ever have the guts to do that! Then Ellie had a little Halloween partaaay thing, man it was so much fun. I was green. Yeah babbbbbby, I wanted to go as a witch so put green eye shadow literally alllll over my face and red lipstick on  and black eye shadow all over my eyes. I'm promise I looked like a witch, not a prostitute ;)
I also stayed at my Uncles at the end of half term to do Maths revision...it wasn't exactly thrilling but it had to be done! My exam's tomorrow, oooooooohhhhhhhhhh god! I feel pretty prepared but I thought that last time and what did I get? A big fat D! But all you can do is try your best I suppose and just hope that the exam is kind! Everyone made me a good luck card today which was really sweet "good luck chuck, don't fuck it up!" That line will be in my head all throughout tomorrow encouraging me to get a C ;)

Other stuff:
It's Emma's birthday today...HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU AMAZING GIRLIE YOU!!! We went to watch the fireworks on Saturday. I must admit I didn't think they were as good as last years but it was fun all the same. We went on rides which had James shouting "SHIT SHIT SHIT I'VE GOT SNOT RUNNING DOWN MY NOSE" and other James telling me he's about to fall of his seat....if that's not a fun evening then what is?

I think that's about all for now..I have last minute maths tutoring soon which I better get ready for...wish me luck!
And once again, have a fab rest of birthday Emma, I love you babe! ;)

It was birthday and yeah...

Sooo it was my birthday on Saturday, I'm now 17 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah. It feels weird saying that, 17 seems like too old. I had a really good day...me and the fam went to dinner on Friday night and of course watched Derren Brown! Oh my god, it was so frickin' awesome.
Then on my actual birthday the crew came over for the night. It was a fun evening filled with videos, poems, talking about farts, Derren Brown, ghost stories and a cake with Pete's face on it. GOOOOOOD TIMES ALL ROUND.

There's a photo of me and ma bro (as you can see I got the David Walliams book ;))

I had a bit of a down day yesterday, I was sooo tired and it was raining and my birthday and fun times were over and my parents were bugging me about how I need to "do at least 2 hours of Maths a day because you need to get a C" aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh. But it's okay I've slept since yesterday, calmed down a bit and arranged my plans for this week...it'll all be okay. Plus I still have my birthday meal with all my lovely girlliee friends tonight! We're going to Ask..yum yummy yummmmmmmmy so that will be nice. Immy's coming which I'm sooo excited for, I haven't seen her since prom!

I'm going to my Uncles later on this week to do Maths revision...ahh. And then Ellie's having a Halloween party on Wednesday and I really want to go to the theatre at some point. Heather's also having a party on Friday night which I don't know if I can make which is a shame. Then Emma's having her party/birthday thing on Saturday..we're going to see the fireworks at the three counties! Her birthday isn't actually until Monday but that's a school day unfortunately...but Saturday will be nice...I love fireworks and last year it was great!
So yeah, everything's quite busy.....
Anyway I'm gonna go and eat some of my chocolate brazil nuts (birthday present from Ellie) and try and get some work done.
Hope you're having a fab Monday/half term/ life

Some stuff

Welllllll hellllllllllooooo.
I haven't posted for a while, once again it's not for any real specific reason, its just yeah...life.

I'm trying to think of anything interesting that's happened since my last post but I really can't. It's just been more school and essay writing and tests and Maths revision. Despite there being lot's of work to do I actually quite enjoy school. Like today I only had two lessons and in one of them we ate cake, its not all bad ;) It is all a bit stressful though because they're tracking us at the moment, it's coming up to half term so they're just wanting to make sure we're not all completely failing. I think I'm doing okay to be fair, I'm trying my best to keep up with the work and just do as well as I can really..I'm so lazy though and it is difficult to get motivated when it comes to what some philosopher thousands of years ago thought about life after death...haha!

oooooooh one major thing that happened....I MET DAVID WALLIAMS. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm a huge Come Fly With Me/Little Britain fan so I literally almost died. It was at the Cheltenham literary festival, he was doing book signings, he seemed so nice and he asked for my name and oh it was just freakin'  epic!!! We also got to see Ian Mcewan do a talk; he's a pretty famous novelist, I've never actually read any of his books but after that talk I really want to! He spoke so eloquently and seemed so nice and it was just..again..freakin' epic ;) AND we saw ROSS KEMP DO A TALK!! OH MAAAAAN. Again, I'm a huge Ross Kemp fan and it was just so cool. That's the only way I can describe it...I was sitting so close to him too because it was only a tiny room. He spoke so eloquently as well...and was so passionate about all of his documentary's and the people he met in Afghanistan and yeah, just generally seemed like a nice guy! The whole festival was really cool and we got tickets really cheap and yeah...it was just a gooooooood day.

It's half term soon which is grrrrrrr8. It's pretty late this year which makes it good because it's my birthday on the first day! Waaahooo. I haven't really thought much about my birthday to be honest..I think the crew are coming round for a big sleepover which'll be a laugh. And then I'll probably go out for a meal or something..nothing too fancy because well 17 is hardly like a significant age to be turning ;) it is scary though...I'll be able to driveeeeee! I don't think I will learn to drive straight away, my parents haven't mentioned lessons or anything and to be honest I'm not all that fussed. I don't trust myself to drive yet and even if I did learn, without a job I'd never be able to afford a car and insurance and stuff! I think I'll just wait for a bit and save up some money first...oooh I sound responsible ;)

Anywho this has been long enough, there ain't really much else to say...plus the time is 17:20 and I have to be at rehearsal in 10 minutes....woooooops.

POST SOON.

OH HAI

So I haven't written on this since like two weeks ago...OH GOD I AM SO SORRY. Oh wait, no one cares.

There aren't any specific or even valid reasons why I haven't written, there's nothing particularly monumental (jeez it took a while for me to spell that word right ;)) that's happened it's just general life taking over. Everything's just busy because of school really; I can't believe we've already been back for a month! The weeks just seem to flyyyy byyy. Everyone always has loads of work to do and yeah. I dropped out of Macbeth too because I wasn't really enjoying it and well what's the point if you don't enjoy it? I still go to rehearsals once a week though and just help out and stuff. My 'helping out' generally consists of sitting down doodling all over a piece of paper...but ya know ;) it's still nice because I get to see people and sometimes I don't at school because everything's busy and we only have half an hour for lunch and I'm not in classes with anyone. It's so easy to drift away from people and well I really don't want to that so well I'm not going to. I sound all a bit flustered, haha, sorry.

Everything's a bit crazy with our friendship group at the moment, stuff is happening, we're all sort of making new friends and Emma & James have both been ill, so yeah, things aren't always easy.
I sound totally feeling sorry for myself there but ya know, I think sometimes I come across as too up beat and 'everything's great all the time' in these posts and I know no one even reads this but I...yeah. The majority of the time everything's cool but school is pretty downing (is that even a word?!) a lot of the time, sixth form is hard and relationships and friendships are hard...especially at this age.

BUT ANYWAY What else have I been up to? Hmmm, I've been trying hard to get a job, to be honest I don't really know why because I'm always so tired and yeah. But I dunno just the idea of being a waitress in the evenings or working in a shop or something is cool and I want money because I like clothes. Butttt unfortunately literally NO WHERE has vacancies, every time I fill in an application form I just get an email back saying "sorry you didn't fit the right criteria, your application was unsuccessful" grrrrrr.
I also went to a birthday meal last weekend which was larveellyy! And there was the first sixth form party on Friday night, it was jungle themed and it was just a laugh. I haven't got any photos of the actual party because well I just didn't get round to actually taking any...here's one from the evening though, Ellie, Beth & I got ready together:
Ellie is gorgeous.
Haha, I'm sure she'll be happy that that is now on the internet...and yeah that was Friday. I was so shattered yesterday and didn't really end up doing much. I went out for lunch with ma Mamma though which was kewwwl. And then I tried to watch The Orphan but got too scared, lol. I do really like that film but I'm just a wuss!

Then today my Uncle came round for the afternoon to help me with maths. WHAT A BABE. My Uncle is so nice, haha. The retakes are in a month and other than today and on the day of my last post I literally have done nothing. I just can't seem to get myself motivated at all and I always seem to have essays to write and other things to do! But we did loads today and we're gonna do some next weekend too, things are looking uppppp! I NEED A C, I NEED A C, I NEED A C.  I WILL GET A C.

But yeah that's that. It's Monday tomorrow, weirdly I kinda like Monday's. I have two frees and Form time which is always a lol.
SO YAH, HAVE A FAB WEEK, BYE.
