I'm gonna keep it

I'm aware that the title of this sounds like I'm talking about a baby or something..haha. But don't worry, I haven't got a bun in the oven yet ;) I'm talking about this blog. The other day I was looking back at my more recent posts and just thought the whole thing was really cringey. I'm always reluctant to tell people I have a blog (not that anyone asks or would want to read it haha) because I just think what I write is pretty stupid and meaningless and I haven't been enjoying doing posts. But  I was just looking through some posts from 2011/year 10 which seem like such a long time ago. It was sooo cool to read back on them! Like I used to go into so much depth, and start off posts with lame things like "hey peeps of da internet" and entitle blogs "happy days" and go into all the reasons why I laughed that day and write what my favourite song was each time I posted, and talk about what me and Emma were discussing on Facebook! All these little, stupid things that are so nice to read back on, almost like nostalgic. It's verrrrry nearly 2013, I've been doing this blogging thing for more than two years now!! It's craazzaaaayy and although I probably won't do loads and loads of regular posting from now on, I'm not gonna delete this. No matter how awful my grammar used to be or how pointless my in depth posting was, it's great to be able to read back and see! There's even some pictures I uploaded which got deleted with my old laptop that are on here, like this one:
We all look so happy and it's just a nice photo and awww, this is put me in a gooooood mood.

Anyway, this was pointless and badly written but whoooooooo cares?! Maybe in another couple of years time I'll be here writing a post about how nostalgic I felt whilst reading this post! (Did that even make sense?!)

I'm gonna go now to watch Santa Clause 2 (best Santa Clause film out of the three ;)) and enjoy Christmas and my old blog posts and the last days of term.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loads of stuff about me no one really cares about

I've had a song called 'sink or swim' stuck in my head for dayssss. It's by this really cool artist singer YouTube guy called Lewis Watson, he's just released an album and it's so good and his voice is oh so lovely and soothing and just nice.

I'm not feeling very well at the moment..as my Dad would put it I've 'burnt the candle at both ends' that expression is just so annoying because he always says it. I guess it's kinda true though, I've been going to bed pretty late and have been pretty busy and yeah...I hope I feel better tomorrow although I'll probably feel worse, this is almost like the calm before the storm. Oh man, so many stupid expressions haha. I'm tempted to come home at lunch time tomorrow because I don't have any lessons in the afternoon, I did that last week though and James got really annoyed because he said I was skiving and not being a good student and I don't really want to make a habit of it. But I guess I'll just see how I feel tomozza....this blog has been incredibly boring so far...

Ooooh it was Will's 18th birthday yesterday! Woooooo, he doesn't even read this but HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR YESTERDAY WILL! We all went to his house and played table football and just generally had a gooooood time. And then we went to Ask, it was annoying though I ended up feeling really sick after the meal and having to leave early...oh noes. And then I slept so badly because I just felt pretty sick and eurrrrghhhh. If 'eurrgghghh' was an emotion it would be exactly how I felt yesterday ;) Wow, I should rename this blog "Anna's complaints."

I'm trying to get a job at the moment...I need money...I applied in Next the other day and in Matalan and in Ask so fingers crossed some where will call me back! I do also live right next to this abbey which used to be where a load of nuns lived and now it's turned into like an events/conference centre place, I went there the other day and tried to get a job as like a waitress or something and had a chat with the manager dude there which was cool. He was really nice and said they'll 'find something for me' so that's kinda promising. It's good also because they work on a 0 hour basis which basically means there's no set hours, it's just sort of as and when they need me to help out in the evenings and tings so it's nothing too heavy or serious or 'YOU HAVE TO WORK THIS MANY HOURS A  WEEK FOREVER' kind of thing! Wow, this is all just random crap about me..sorry..sorry..sorry non existent people who read this....

We have the day off on Friday which is awesome and Macbeth is being performed that evening which is doubly awesome..wooppp wooppp.

Anyway I'm going to rehearsal tonight for the Christmas light switch on thingy...I best go and get ready...have a nice life. xx

P.S I like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fa5aaA-zvxY&feature=g-u-u it reminded me of what Emma wrote in her POST

Good afternoon...

What's been going onnnnnn?
Well not much really, these past weeks have gone by so quickly..like it's almost the end of November..in fact no..it's almost Christmas. Jezzzzzzuuuzzz. There's nothing very interesting happening at the moment to be honest, that's sort of why I delayed writing anymore posts, not out of laziness or busyness just because there's nothing really to say.

Having said that I did go on a Philosophy trip to Birmingham (I know, we had to travel so far ;)) last week and that was pretty cool. Heather and I spent the day together which was nice, we got lost in the rain during lunch time and just had general laughs ;) and the actual content of the trip was good too. We basically went there just to see this guy called Peter Vardy do some lecutre's about God. Now for people who hate religion and all that stuff..you would have hated this. I'm not gonna lie I hated some of it, some talks were extremely boring but a lot were pretty darnnn interesting. On the surface, if you don't believe in it yourself, believing in God seems completely absurd and stupid and like why would anyone ever waste there time believing in something when there's no evidence for it? But when you actually learn about it you think "wow, I totally get that" and you sort of stop being so ignorant to it...and yeah..that's always nice.

That was really boring and nerdy..sorry.

I really can't think of anything else to say...hmm oohh I'm going to see the school musical this weekend which should be coooool. It's 'we will rock you' which means Queen music and dancing and craazzaay costumes. I really can't wait and everyone in it has worked soo hard for it so I bet it'll be a fab. Macbeth is being performed next week too, I'm gonna be selling tickets and generally helping out there...we're performing in a church will make it all sinister and cool and I really, really hope it's good.
It's the Christmas light switch on thingy soon too. I'm doing a devised street theatre thingy with Perfect Circle to perform there, it's the first rehearsal tonight which I'm strangely nervous for. I think it's because I'm SHIT AT DEVISED PIECES, like seriously I have no imagination whatsoever and there's only a few people doing it and I don't want to let everyone down by just being shit...we'll see though, I'm sure I'll be fine right? Yeah..yeah...it'll be great Haha!

I think that's the end of this post, I need to go eat something.

xx

First day back

Well hello.
It was the first day back after half term today (hence the original title.) It was so great and nice not to have to get up in darkness and just good. I didn't want it to end!
Lot's of stuff happened...first off my birthday meallll, waaaaahoooo. I was worried it might end up being a bit awkward because not everybody knew each other but it turned out to be fine and just a good ol' laugh. Then there was the Perfect Circle comedy evening which guess what?! Was funnnnnnnnaaaay! Like seriously it was. I admire anyone who can stand up on a stage and  make people laugh, I'm quite confident and  can act but I don't think I'd ever have the guts to do that! Then Ellie had a little Halloween partaaay thing, man it was so much fun. I was green. Yeah babbbbbby, I wanted to go as a witch so put green eye shadow literally alllll over my face and red lipstick on  and black eye shadow all over my eyes. I'm promise I looked like a witch, not a prostitute ;)
I also stayed at my Uncles at the end of half term to do Maths revision...it wasn't exactly thrilling but it had to be done! My exam's tomorrow, oooooooohhhhhhhhhh god! I feel pretty prepared but I thought that last time and what did I get? A big fat D! But all you can do is try your best I suppose and just hope that the exam is kind! Everyone made me a good luck card today which was really sweet "good luck chuck, don't fuck it up!" That line will be in my head all throughout tomorrow encouraging me to get a C ;)

Other stuff:
It's Emma's birthday today...HAPPY BIRTHDAY YOU AMAZING GIRLIE YOU!!! We went to watch the fireworks on Saturday. I must admit I didn't think they were as good as last years but it was fun all the same. We went on rides which had James shouting "SHIT SHIT SHIT I'VE GOT SNOT RUNNING DOWN MY NOSE" and other James telling me he's about to fall of his seat....if that's not a fun evening then what is?

I think that's about all for now..I have last minute maths tutoring soon which I better get ready for...wish me luck!
And once again, have a fab rest of birthday Emma, I love you babe! ;)

It was birthday and yeah...

Sooo it was my birthday on Saturday, I'm now 17 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah. It feels weird saying that, 17 seems like too old. I had a really good day...me and the fam went to dinner on Friday night and of course watched Derren Brown! Oh my god, it was so frickin' awesome.
Then on my actual birthday the crew came over for the night. It was a fun evening filled with videos, poems, talking about farts, Derren Brown, ghost stories and a cake with Pete's face on it. GOOOOOOD TIMES ALL ROUND.

There's a photo of me and ma bro (as you can see I got the David Walliams book ;))

I had a bit of a down day yesterday, I was sooo tired and it was raining and my birthday and fun times were over and my parents were bugging me about how I need to "do at least 2 hours of Maths a day because you need to get a C" aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhh. But it's okay I've slept since yesterday, calmed down a bit and arranged my plans for this week...it'll all be okay. Plus I still have my birthday meal with all my lovely girlliee friends tonight! We're going to Ask..yum yummy yummmmmmmmy so that will be nice. Immy's coming which I'm sooo excited for, I haven't seen her since prom!

I'm going to my Uncles later on this week to do Maths revision...ahh. And then Ellie's having a Halloween party on Wednesday and I really want to go to the theatre at some point. Heather's also having a party on Friday night which I don't know if I can make which is a shame. Then Emma's having her party/birthday thing on Saturday..we're going to see the fireworks at the three counties! Her birthday isn't actually until Monday but that's a school day unfortunately...but Saturday will be nice...I love fireworks and last year it was great!
So yeah, everything's quite busy.....
Anyway I'm gonna go and eat some of my chocolate brazil nuts (birthday present from Ellie) and try and get some work done.
Hope you're having a fab Monday/half term/ life

Some stuff

Welllllll hellllllllllooooo.
I haven't posted for a while, once again it's not for any real specific reason, its just yeah...life.

I'm trying to think of anything interesting that's happened since my last post but I really can't. It's just been more school and essay writing and tests and Maths revision. Despite there being lot's of work to do I actually quite enjoy school. Like today I only had two lessons and in one of them we ate cake, its not all bad ;) It is all a bit stressful though because they're tracking us at the moment, it's coming up to half term so they're just wanting to make sure we're not all completely failing. I think I'm doing okay to be fair, I'm trying my best to keep up with the work and just do as well as I can really..I'm so lazy though and it is difficult to get motivated when it comes to what some philosopher thousands of years ago thought about life after death...haha!

oooooooh one major thing that happened....I MET DAVID WALLIAMS. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm a huge Come Fly With Me/Little Britain fan so I literally almost died. It was at the Cheltenham literary festival, he was doing book signings, he seemed so nice and he asked for my name and oh it was just freakin'  epic!!! We also got to see Ian Mcewan do a talk; he's a pretty famous novelist, I've never actually read any of his books but after that talk I really want to! He spoke so eloquently and seemed so nice and it was just..again..freakin' epic ;) AND we saw ROSS KEMP DO A TALK!! OH MAAAAAN. Again, I'm a huge Ross Kemp fan and it was just so cool. That's the only way I can describe it...I was sitting so close to him too because it was only a tiny room. He spoke so eloquently as well...and was so passionate about all of his documentary's and the people he met in Afghanistan and yeah, just generally seemed like a nice guy! The whole festival was really cool and we got tickets really cheap and yeah...it was just a gooooooood day.

It's half term soon which is grrrrrrr8. It's pretty late this year which makes it good because it's my birthday on the first day! Waaahooo. I haven't really thought much about my birthday to be honest..I think the crew are coming round for a big sleepover which'll be a laugh. And then I'll probably go out for a meal or something..nothing too fancy because well 17 is hardly like a significant age to be turning ;) it is scary though...I'll be able to driveeeeee! I don't think I will learn to drive straight away, my parents haven't mentioned lessons or anything and to be honest I'm not all that fussed. I don't trust myself to drive yet and even if I did learn, without a job I'd never be able to afford a car and insurance and stuff! I think I'll just wait for a bit and save up some money first...oooh I sound responsible ;)

Anywho this has been long enough, there ain't really much else to say...plus the time is 17:20 and I have to be at rehearsal in 10 minutes....woooooops.

POST SOON.

Sunday, 7 October 2012

OH HAI

So I haven't written on this since like two weeks ago...OH GOD I AM SO SORRY. Oh wait, no one cares.

There aren't any specific or even valid reasons why I haven't written, there's nothing particularly monumental (jeez it took a while for me to spell that word right ;)) that's happened it's just general life taking over. Everything's just busy because of school really; I can't believe we've already been back for a month! The weeks just seem to flyyyy byyy. Everyone always has loads of work to do and yeah. I dropped out of Macbeth too because I wasn't really enjoying it and well what's the point if you don't enjoy it? I still go to rehearsals once a week though and just help out and stuff. My 'helping out' generally consists of sitting down doodling all over a piece of paper...but ya know ;) it's still nice because I get to see people and sometimes I don't at school because everything's busy and we only have half an hour for lunch and I'm not in classes with anyone. It's so easy to drift away from people and well I really don't want to that so well I'm not going to. I sound all a bit flustered, haha, sorry.

Everything's a bit crazy with our friendship group at the moment, stuff is happening, we're all sort of making new friends and Emma & James have both been ill, so yeah, things aren't always easy.
I sound totally feeling sorry for myself there but ya know, I think sometimes I come across as too up beat and 'everything's great all the time' in these posts and I know no one even reads this but I...yeah. The majority of the time everything's cool but school is pretty downing (is that even a word?!) a lot of the time, sixth form is hard and relationships and friendships are hard...especially at this age.

BUT ANYWAY What else have I been up to? Hmmm, I've been trying hard to get a job, to be honest I don't really know why because I'm always so tired and yeah. But I dunno just the idea of being a waitress in the evenings or working in a shop or something is cool and I want money because I like clothes. Butttt unfortunately literally NO WHERE has vacancies, every time I fill in an application form I just get an email back saying "sorry you didn't fit the right criteria, your application was unsuccessful" grrrrrr.
I also went to a birthday meal last weekend which was larveellyy! And there was the first sixth form party on Friday night, it was jungle themed and it was just a laugh. I haven't got any photos of the actual party because well I just didn't get round to actually taking any...here's one from the evening though, Ellie, Beth & I got ready together:
Ellie is gorgeous.
Haha, I'm sure she'll be happy that that is now on the internet...and yeah that was Friday. I was so shattered yesterday and didn't really end up doing much. I went out for lunch with ma Mamma though which was kewwwl. And then I tried to watch The Orphan but got too scared, lol. I do really like that film but I'm just a wuss!

Then today my Uncle came round for the afternoon to help me with maths. WHAT A BABE. My Uncle is so nice, haha. The retakes are in a month and other than today and on the day of my last post I literally have done nothing. I just can't seem to get myself motivated at all and I always seem to have essays to write and other things to do! But we did loads today and we're gonna do some next weekend too, things are looking uppppp! I NEED A C, I NEED A C, I NEED A C.  I WILL GET A C.

But yeah that's that. It's Monday tomorrow, weirdly I kinda like Monday's. I have two frees and Form time which is always a lol.
SO YAH, HAVE A FAB WEEK, BYE.

Sunday, 23 September 2012

I have to retake Maths.

The title sort of speaks for itself on this one.
I got a D in Maths and so am having to retake it, now I know that in the grand scheme of things this really doesn't matter, there are people with way worse problems, people who didn't pass any of their GCSE's, people who can't even go to school and take GCSE's, the list is endlessssssssssss. But for me, this is just annoying.

Its a really rainy, dull, typical English weather type afternoon and I'm trying desperately to motivate myself and actually DO SOME MATHS. So far I've got no where, I sat at the table for about half an hour and spread all of my revision and past papers out from last year and well...that's about it. I'm just so annoyed about having to retake because I did so much revision for it last year! My Uncle's a maths teacher and I spent days with him revising. Did I manage to pass? No. GRRRRR.
I did modular last year too which meant only one exam at the end of the year because I'd done the other ones before, now that I'm retaking I'm doing the linear course which means the entire Maths course spread of two exams. TWO EXAMS EURGHGHGHGHHG. Sorry, hopefully this mood will lift soon and I will actually get something done. My Mum & Dad are just telling me to stop moaning and try and make a start on actually doing something, they're right but I just can't ;)
You know when you just don't even know where to start because there's just too many pieces of paper and stuff that you're supposed to know that you've completely forgotten? That's how I feel...I struggle even to remember what a prime number is and I'm not even over exaggerating. Oh man...okay I'm just feeling even more stressed about this than I was before...shut up Anna...shut up shut up shut up. All I really want to do is get under my duvet cover with a cup of tea and watch Gavin & Stacey...hmm I may do that actually..after I make myself do at least half an hour of proper revision! I can do it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hah, I think I've gone a bit mental, I need to calm down. I'll probably delete this post tomorrow...but for now, gooodbye, I'm off to revise..maybe...probably. I really wish there was some way to make Maths fun...
But anyway I hope you're having a nice, rainy Sunday afternoon!
xo

ITS FRIDAYYYYY

Oh hi there my blog. I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T WRITTEN FOR AGES, my last post was just too frickin' long and I was like "just don't blog for a while" that and I've been busy busy busy with school and stufffff.

There is nothing very interesting to write here to be honest, I'm in a pretty goooood mood because it's Friday wooohhohohoohohohoohohoohohoho. The idea of two days off school and not having to get up early is just awesomeeee. When you've been off school for months and months the idea of a couple of days off work is just the norm but its a rare treat these days ;) well not rare but ya know....

I've definitely got used to sixth form now, its still weird but its a lot more enjoyable than it was to begin with. I enjoy the subjects I'm doing and although the work load is heavy, I have lots of frees and try and work as much as possible in them so there's never too much to do at home. Having said that I have an essay to write over the weekend (erurghghghg) its for Drama though so it's not too bad! Once you sort of get into the swing of writing and researching stuff its okay, sometimes I just need to tell myself to stop being lazy ;)

Its been a good couple of days because...
1) Interform rounders got cancelled yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! God knows why we still have to do sport in year 12?! Its ridiculous! Having said that when we did it on Monday it turned out to be quite fun, all the form tutors got involved and it was just really relaxed and funny
2) We had a fire drill yesterday! I don't know why but firedrills always excite me hahaha. Its time out of lessons and its just fun...all of the year 7 kids looked so scared though
3) I signed up to be on the charity committee. That might sound incredibly lame but I think it'll be fun! We get to organise cake sales and shit and it'll be really cool to know that you're actually helping out a charity. Plus Heather's the 'cheif' of the commitee so it'll be a laaugghhhhh.
4) Today I got to help out in a year 7 class! My form tutor wanted people to help with his year 7's, help them spell and tings and I did and it was just funny. They're all so cute and obedient, they performed little plays and I got to judge them, waaahooo.

That's about all I can think of for now, this has been a bit dull but ya know ;)
Now I must go and eat....toooodles!
Have an awesome weekend
xo

A Mother's Son

This is gonna be a slightly weird post but I just need to write about this because I'm really this lame ;)

So there was this drama play thing on ITV last Monday and honestly it was so darn good. Now I'm not great at writing, I'm barley coherent in real life, let alone when trying to explain something through words! But I will try because it was just that good. It was one of those programmes, that just like with a good book or film, I got completely sucked into. I couldn't not write about it! I also feel like when I've written about it won't feel the need to keep rambling onto other people about how awesome it was ;)

It was a sort of murder mystery. Basically it was about this woman who thought her son had murdered someone (told you I'm not good at explaining things ha.) It starts off with everyone finding out about the murder and because of various reasons and plot twists, the mother believes its her son. The home they live in is really messed up because the Mum lives with her new husband and his two kids along with her two kids from a previous marriage. From the start there is rift between Rosie (the Mother) and her new husband, they're trying to all live in this house happily together but can't because of their children. A lot of it was about relationships, not just between Rosie and Ben (new husband) but between Rosie's children and Ben too. It sort of questions how far he would go for children who aren't actually his. Rosie and Jamie's (Rosie's son/ the murderer) Dad are adamant that even if Jamie had killed the girl they would never go to the police. While Ben thinks of the risk to his own children and says that they must go; the whole thing is shot incredibly well and because it was over two episodes it completely kept you guessing. You don't know that it's actually Jamie until one of the final scenes.

The last two scenes are, for me, what made all of it so good. Although Jamie did kill this girl and as you're watching it you feel incredibly sorry for her and her family, you also feel incredibly sorry for Jamie too. What was so good about it I think is that it was from the perspective of this mother. It wasn't what you would think a murder mystery would be about, from the perspective of the police or the family of the murdered girl, it was from the mother of this boy who had done this completely terrible thing but still had the forgiveness of his Mum and Dad. Seriously its making me cry just writing about this, the final scenes were so heart breaking, it just ending on Rosie and Jamie standing outside the police station and Rosie putting her hand out for him and them walking in together. There was no big ending where the police get him, nothing at all melodramatic, it was just it. He'd killed someone and his parents needed to be there for him because how couldn't they be?

It was acted so well too. Again there was nothing melodramatic about it also because of the acting. The guy who played Jamie was completely dry all the way through so you didn't really ever know if he'd done it or not until he admits at the end. And the actors playing the Mum and Dad were just incredible, they both portrayed their characters so well, just being completely helpless but at the same time wanted to know what drove their son to do it.

Sorry that I've just rambled on and on, as you can tell I really like drama! I love the way that just by a few hours of television you can get so attached to one family and some characters and one story. And people can interpret it in some many different ways, not just 'A Mother's Son' but just any programme on the telly, or any play or book or film or whatever, its kinda like art and can mean different things to different people. Like this one programme has been absolutely amazing to me but another person could find it completely crap!

Maybe all of this is just me being weird and normal people don't get this bothered about some ITV drama. So yeah, sorry for that but I just couldn't stop thinking about it and wanted to write it down in a few words...or a few paragraphs...

I advise anyone who hasn't seen it to go YouTube it! You won't regret it ;)

Anyway jeez this has been long and slightly strange. I won't post for like a week to make up for all of this.
GOODBYE. xxxxxx

30 day challenge: Day 30

OMG ITS THE END OF THE CHALLENGE, TIME HAS GONE SO QUICK. Lol, jokes. To be honest this challenge seems to have dragged on and onnnnnnnnnnn, maybe its cos I haven't been doing it every day...but it has seemed like bloody ages since I started it! But anyway..

A photo of yourself from today and what are five good things that have happened since you started the challenge?
Okay, okay I know. I am aware that I just look stupid in this photo but trust me all the others were much worse! Its only 10 in the morning, I'm still in my pjs and have no make up on so soz. ;) But yeah, that's that. I look silllyyyyy.

The good things...
1) My laptop got fixed (unfortunately its broken again but it was good whilst it lasted)
2) I started piano lessons
3) I got my GCSE results back and apart from Maths was really pleased!
4) Sixth form started
5) I found Caspar Lee on YouTube.

And that is that...the 30 day challenge completed! Its really help me get into blogging again and hopefully I'll keep doing regular posts!

SCHOOL UPDATE:
I said in my last post I would write about starting sixth form in another one sooo here ya go...
so far I don't know if I like it that much or not. Its such a big change and I really miss just normal school. I miss my form and I can't believe I'm saying this, I even miss wearing uniform. OH GOD. Haha! Its cool having a lot more freedom I suppose and hopefully I'll just get used to it. At the moment its so tiring though and I'm just being really lazy and all "I can't be bothered" with it. That's such a bad attitude to have, I should embrace the change like I said I was going to and just realize that school is important and I need to start working hard again.
However, all of that is easier said than done! Hopefully I'll start getting into it all more next week, its just all a bit too new and scary for me. I sound like I'm wining which I probably am but I didn't want to just write "yeah sixth form's great, I'm really enjoying it" if I didn't actually think it...so yeah, sorry. For now though I'm just so glad its the weekend and I haven't got much homework so all is good for the next couple of days...:D

Doctor Who's on tonight which I'm excited for! Other than that there's not really much to say about today, I have to go to the bank and fill in a form about taxes. Bloody hell my life is so damn interesting, aren't you jealous?! I also really want some cake...I might do some baking! mmmmmmmm

BUT ANYWHO THAT'S ALL FOR NOW FOLKS, HAVE A FABADAB WEEKEND.
TA TAAAAA

30 day challenge: Day 29

Who is your hero?
Hmmm...this is probably going to be another one of those questions that I can't answer because I'm not imaginative or anything and really have no idea. I don't really have a hero or any specific role models. Having said that I really like/look up to in a way Louise from Sprinkleofglitter.
I know that's kind of lame because obviously I've never actually met and she's just some random woman who makes videos on the internet but she just seems lovely and has a cute little family and such a positive attitude towards life! Genuinely, if ever I'm feeling down I'll watch one of her videos! ;) So yeah, I wouldn't say she's my 'hero' but I guess I do look up to her a bit.

Sorry I haven't written since Tuesday, SCHOOLLLLLL has come. I don't know why I felt the need to put the word school in capital letters.
I really can't be bothered to write about sixth form and stuff at the moment, I feel too tired. Maybe tomorrow......FAIL.
BUT YEAH BYEEEE. xxx

30 day challenge: Day 28

What stresses you out?
School
Stomach aches
Just general life sometimes...

So I went to pizza hut yesterday

It was tasttyy, I think I ate a bit too much though. But it was nice all the same, I don't often see Beth and her friends outside of school so it was nice, bit of a change from the usual!

The crew are going ice skating today. I cannot ice skate to save my life so I'm kinda worried! I haven't been in about a year either so this'll be interesting! Its for James' birthday though, thought we'd do something specialllll and ice skating is what we came up with. Yes, I know, we really do live life on the edge ;)

SCHOOL TOMORROW.
Ah that's so weird to say, I'm pretty ready for it though. Prep work done, stationary bought, should be goooood. It'll be fun tomorrow too because its just an induction day which hopefully means we're out of lessons and just being introduced to our forms and stuff. So far I only know about four people in maaa new form so it'll be interesting to see who else is with me! I'm really looking forward to it all to be honest, although I'm just going back to my school it'll still be like a new, fresh start! BRING ON YEAR TWELVE. Haha.

Anyway I'm afraid this blog is going to have to end now because there is nothing else with any significance going on in my life.

SOOOO GOOOOOOOODBYEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Have a nice Tuesday! xxx

30 day challenge: Day 27

Photo of your city (town)....
Since my laptop has broken I haven't got any of my photos to hand so err...here's one off Wikipedia! ;)
File:The top of Church Street. - geograph.org.uk - 56973.jpg
There yaa gooo. I don't actually live in a city, its like a really, really small town. That photo makes it look all pretty which I guess it is..on a sunny day at least!

I had a really lovely day yesterday. I went to Cheltenham with my Mum, we don't go there that much cos its not really near our small little town! Haha, but its really pretty there and there's some coooooool shops. There's this really cute one, damnnn I've completely forgotten the name! But it sold loads of sweet little ornaments and candles and stuff. There was a sale on so we bought some stuff! I got this reallly gorgeousss throw/quilted rug thing, here's a photo....

Sorry the lightings a bit crap, but yeah, it was reduced from £95 to £28! Bargaaainnn! We also went to Paperchase, its like stationary heaven ;)
It was just a funnn day. I don't often spend that much time with my Mum so it was nice.

Only a couple more days of the holiday left now, the more I think about it, the more depressing that is. I'm sort of scared for sixth form but but buttttt it should be okay! I'm half looking forward to it, hopefully once we get into a routine it'll be fine.

I'm going to Beth's birthday meal thing this afternoon. We're going to Pizza Hut woooooooo! Unlimited ice cream, yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh babeyyyyyy. Haha, I'm so weird.

Anyway, yes, gooooodbye!

30 day challenge: Day 26

What do you want your dream wedding to be like?
Hmm, I'm not honestly sure. I never really think about it..although having said that Emma has got me into watching proposal videos on YouTube. I know, that's really weird...hahah! But some of them are really cute and fun to watch ;)
But anyway..dream wedding. Hmm, I don't know, I guess I'd like it to be quite big and have everyone I knew there. I don't think a really small, intimate ceremony would be for me ;) just something big and fun and happy and beautiful and special. Yeahhhhhhhhh.

We're going to visit my Great Auntie & Uncle later, we're going out for dinner which should be kewwwl. My Great Uncle, even though he's like 90 something is still really funny and full of wit ;) its amazing!

The only thing I'm annoyed about is that I'll miss Doctor Who! NOOOOOOOOOOOO. But its okay, all is well because I have Sky+ so I'm gonna record it. I'll be up first thing tomorrow watching it! Mann, I'm such a nerd, I'm genuinely really excited for it!! The advert looks so frickin' cooooooool. I wish David Tennant was the Doctor still though, as much as I love Matt Smith, David Tennant was the best! And Billie Piper too, lots of people hated Rose but I thought she was awesome. But anyway, I better stop talking about that now...I could go on forever...

It's James' birthday on Tuesday so we're all making little video birthday messages for him. I tried to film mine today but it turned out really crap...hopefully it'll be better tomorrow and I can think or something actually decent to say! And that's about all for now.

Hope you're having an awesome Saturday, au revoir!

30 day challenge: Day 25

What are you looking forward to?
Starting sixth form and my birthday!!

I'm really addicted to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOOxlVUC08Q I know its really mainstream and I find Rita Ora so annoying but omg, its just so catchhhyyy! SO PUT YOUR ARMS AROUND ME BABYY WE'RE TEARING UP THE TOWNNNN. Hahah, sorry.

Anywaaaaaaaaaaay, hmm there's not much to write in this blog. I did nothing at all yesterday which was fun. It wasn't actually too bad, I was really tired and feeling a bit down (as you can tell from my post!) and so it was probably best just not to be around people and just chilllll. Which is exactly what I did! I watched Wild Child. I know that films kind of lame and girly and incredibly unrealistic but I find it hilarious ;)

I'm meeting Ewan soon...I haven't seen that boy in weeks! So yeah, that's that.

See you for question 26!

30 day challenge: Day 24

What have you learnt?
To not say anything stupid.

Some bad things:
- My laptop has completely broken which I'm really annoyed about. The laptop place rang up this morning and said that its basically a lost cause and I shouldn't even bother going into pick it up because its all in little tiny pieces as they took it apart to see what was wrong with it and yeah. Luckily they've managed to get a hard drive and save all of my memory on it though so that's good I guess. It is all a bit annoying though, especially with school just about to start...eurgggggh.
- BOYS ARE SO ANNOYING. I always hate it when people write status' like that or tweet it because its just stupid and annoying but no one reads this so I don't care. I don't really know what else to say about that little outburst...it'd be kinda weird/inappropriate if I started ranting about shit like that on here...
- Its a horrible day. Its chucking it down with rain and its really grey and yucky and cold

As you can see I'm in one of those 'feeling sorry for myself moods' so yeah, sorry. I'll probably read back on this blog and think "Anna just shut up"

Some good things:
- Tegan and Ellen slept round last night and it was so much fun! We literally just talked and reminisced for hours and hours. Its so lovely to catch up with people you haven't seen in a while!
- We found out our timetables for sixth form yesterday. They put it all up on the school website...I'm actually in Ellen's form which is awesome and a couple of other people I know! Although none of my really close friends are in my form I'm still really happy with who I'm with. It'll be good to make new friends and just experience new things (oh the cheese) I'm weirdly looking forward to starting back...one week today! Ahhhhh.

But anyway, that's enough for now. Sorry this has been a bit dull but that just reflects my current mood ;)
BYEEEEEE.
Oooh actually this video cheered me up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-YRjFN8nkc&feature=g-all-u watch it if you're feeling down too! ;)

30 day challenge: Day 23

What are your favourite films and TV shows?
TV shows:
- Friends
- Gavin & Stacey
- Doctor Who
Films:
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging
- Mean Girls
- The Muppets (hahahahah)

It was really cold today. James and I met up and just sat on a bench talking for hours. Man, it was cold. The Summer is almost gone now, the evenings are getting darker. Basically its September reaaaaaalllll soon which means the inevitable, school.
I'm in two minds about school. On one hand it'll be really cool and a lot different to last year as its sixth form now! And this morning I went stationary shopping which made me all excited and happy (haha, I'm so lame.) But then on the other hand, no matter how different and exciting sixth form is to begin with, at the end of the day its still school and there's gonna be a hell of a lot of work to do! But I guess now I'm only doing subjects I'm really interested in so I don't know maybe it'll be fun all year round! Who knowwwwwwws!? Not me folks ;)

I'm going to Ellie's tomorrow which'll be cool, she's going to make apple pancakes! Wooppp woooooop! And then Ellen & Tegan are coming round for the night. That sounded weirdly sexual in my head, I promise nothing sexual will occur. We'll probably just end up talking for hours and eating crap (not real crap, don't worry.) But it'll be good to see them both! They're my primary school buds and even though Ellen still goes to my school I never properly seen her, all three of us haven't met up for about a year so it should be fun fun funnnn! I'm so glad we're all still friends!
BUT ANYWAY THAT'S ENOUGH FOR NOW.
BYEEEEEEEE. xxxxxx

30 day challenge: Day 22 (and a massive ramble about laptops)

Sorry I haven't written in a couple of days, not that anyone cares but ya know. I don't even know why I haven't I just haven't really been feeling in a blogging mood. But I'm here now....I'm ready for question 21......

What do you want your future to be like?
Hmmm, well I want to be healthy obviously and well it sounds cheesy but just happy I guess? And have nice friends and family and a job that I enjoy. That's about it really. Yeah.

So the job interview I talked about went okay. The woman asked me really weird questions like "have you ever faced a problem where you've had to be creative to solve it?" it was difficult to answer them to say the least! But it was a good experience and she was nice and just yeah. I don't think I'll get the job to be honest, she said she has loads of CV's and people to interview so its hardly likely. But like I say its good experience, something a little extra to write on that CV of  mine ;)

What else have I been up to? PREP WORK. I spent all of Friday afternoon and yesterday morning and this afternoon doing my blimin' prep. ITS FINALLY ALL DONE YAYYYY! I was meant to go to this picnic thing this afternoon with people but I just completely lost track of time, I wasn't dressed until 12 and then started doing the homework and then it was like 4 and I was like "oh I didn't go" haha. It was exactly like that ;) but yeah, its okay though, lots of people were going, I don't think they missed me too much.

(Warning: massive ramble....sorry)
I also didn't go as I was really annoyed/stressed because guess what? My laptop is broken again. Yep, that's right. Basically back in March time my laptop charger broke and so I couldn't switch my laptop on because it wasn't a problem with the charger itself it was the thing you plug your charger into and anyway yeah, it was just unusable. I spent months on end trying to get it fixed at PC world and they didn't end up doing it so in the end my Dad took it to this local computer fixing place and they fixed it within two days! As you can imagine I was completely thrilled and still was up until a couple of days ago. Now my laptop has gone back to normal and just won't charge so again I can't even turn it on. As you can tell it's all very annoying cos we only got it fixed a month ago and now its just not working again. God I'm rambling so much but I'm just annoyed! The plan is to get a hard drive/memory stick, try to switch my laptop on for one last time to get all of my files off it and then get a new one for my birthday. That or go back to the fixing shop
and try and get it working again! That seems like a bit of a lost cause to me though, its obviously not working even when professionals have tried to fix it! My b'day is only 2 months away, I'll just try and get the cheapest laptop or one on sale or something! But yeah, that's that. I'm currently using my Mum's laptop which is just a annoying for her, we rely on technology so much these days, its crazzzzzyy!
But yeah basically if these posts aren't as frequent technology issues are the reason why. Argh.

So yes, that's that. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee byeeeeee for now!

30 day challenge: Day 21

What are you proud of?
GCSE RESULTS. Lol, jokes but I will tell you what I got but that'll come later ;)
Erm I'm not honestly sure, I haven't done anything that is particularly proud worthy so yeah. I don't think I'm going to answer this....

ANYWAY....RESULTS, so I hardly slept last night and then this morning woke up at half 6 and waited around for ages and then eventually walked into school at 9 completely shitting myself. Don't worry, I didn't actually shit myself. So basically what I got is pretty simple, I got...
Three A's. 1 in Philosophy and Ethics, 1 in RE and 1 in ICT
One D. This was in Maths. It is absolutely awful I know, I really struggle with Maths but thought I revised enough to get  a C, I started crying, it was bad. But its okay, well its not but it will be, I'll just retake in November and fingers crossed for a C!
Then all the rest were B's.
I was soooo chuffed with this because I was predicted mostly C's so it was great to get higher than that! And I got a B in frickin' History!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could not believe this, History lessons were the worst for me, I used to fail every test and I got a D in my coursework. As you can tell I didn't exactly have high hopes. But then I worked really hard for the exams and ended up getting an A* in one of them and an A in another, bringing my over all grade up to a B!!! To some people, B's are awful but for me a B in History is like the greatest! Haha. I'm just a gutted that I didn't get a C for maths, I think I needed like three more marks or something ridiculous to get a C! Is soooo annoying. As I've said though, I will retake and it'll be okay (hopefully.)

I tried sooo hard for all those exams and in ones I really struggled in I managed to bring C's up to B's so I am mostly really, really pleased. I've never been the smartest person in the world nor was I ever predicted A's or A*'s so to get a few was brilliant! I just hope everyone got exactly what they wanted and I'm glad I know now cos I was dyinggggggg! I've decided next year I'm going to do Drama, Philosophy & Ethics and Sociology, I'm actually strangely looking forward to it now! Although I really need to get started on the prep work!

Now that results are over I have another thing to be nervous over. My job interview thing tomorrow, I really don't know what to wear. Trivial I know! But it is important to be like presentable, it'd be sooo cool if I got the job so I've gotta try and do the best I can tomorrow!

Anyway, bye bye bye byeeeeeeee.
Once again, I hope everyone got exactly what they wanted with their results! :)

30 day challenge: Day 20

What is something you always think 'what if' about?
Hmm this is a tricky one, I'm not entirely sure to be honest. I could be all philosophical and say "what if I'd never been born?" ooooooh. Haha, not really. I don't know, oooh actually, this is a good one! What if I'd never met Jess? Jess and I met on holiday  back in like 2005, we met completely by chance and just became best friends, it sounds cheesy but I honestly do not know what I'd do without her! Things would be a lot different and we could have so easily never have met! Crazzzyyy.

So lots of stuff is going on, I'm a bit over excited/nervous at the moment so sorry if this is written really awfully. ITS RESULTS DAY TOMORROW ALDKFJASDVSHDKFVUVYSDKHVBDFVHDZ. I don't even know if I'm scared or not. I go through stages of being nervous and feeling sick to suddenly feeling really apprehensive and excited!!!!!!!! Ahhhh. I just wish I knew already. I sooo soooo hope I've done well, I tried so hard, its like all of the revision sessions and assembly's on "how to do well in your GCSE'S" all boils down to this. A few pieces of paper with letters on them. JESUS. Okay, I'm just making myself more nervous. Shush Anna, shussssssssssssssssssssh.

Another nerve racking/exciting thing is that I have a job interview on Friday at Monsoon. Results, interviews, opening bank accounts. This is scary, I feel old ;)
It is exciting though! Anyway, I must stop because other wise I'll just go on and start getting really nervous for tomorrow. No one reads this but GOOD LUCK for tomorrow if you're getting your results! I really, really hope everyone gets what they want :)
James is cooking dinner for us all tonight which'll hopefully calm my nerves! I must go and get ready...

BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

30 day challenge: Day 19

What do you want to say to your ex?
Fuck you.

Lol, jokes. I don't know, hello? How are you?

I got my hair cut yesterday, its a lot shorter. I'm undecided about whether I like it or not...I think I'll just have to get used to it.I also went into town yesterday to try and find a job, it was annoying though cos lots of places said they had vacancies but just needed a CV, I forgot to take my CV so I'm going to have to go back to all the shops some other time! It was good anyways because I found out which shops had vacancies so it wasn't a complete waste of time!

There's not really much else to say in this blog to be honest....I could go on about results day being not tomorrow but the next day and how nervous I am but I think I did that in another post, I'm just trying not to think about it.......
BUT YEAH, BYE.

Ooooh also, just one more thing! I made a video today, kinda like an introduction one for YouTube. I'm really unsure about whether to upload it or not..I'm so indecisive when it comes to stuff like this! A part of me really wants to but then I'm worried that people will find out and be like "ooooh that's so weird." Hmm, its a tricky one, I think I will upload this video but I'll probably end up deleting it in a couple of days or something stupid...

This has been a really bad blog but whatever...no one even reads this ;)

Sunday, 19 August 2012

30 day challenge: Day 18

What do you miss?
Hmmm, this is a tricky one for me, I tend to miss things  a lot. I think I over use the word 'miss' to be fair..but yeah...I'm not too sure. It sounds cheesy but I miss being younger, nowadays school seems to be so important (even during the holiday there's loads of bloody prep work to do!) and there's lots of pressure I guess. So yeah, being younger when things didn't matter as much and your parents just made all your decisions for you ;)

Chris came round yesterday which was gooooooood. We didn't really do much at all but it was a laugh anyways, we went on a walk and just generally chatted and sttttttttuuuuuuuuuuufffffffffffffffffffff. I made him leave before my Mum got home from work because I am a bitch. Lol jokes, its just cos my Mum seems to quite like Chris and if they'd crossed paths they probably wouldn't have stopped talking to each other or talking about me or something. I would just have been standing there awkwardly....

I was meant to be going some where with my Mum today but she got called out to work so that was annoying. Toms at work too and my Dads gone away with my Uncle. Only George and I are left and us two don't exactly get on so I'm having a bit of a dull day to be honest.....I went on a walk/jog, drank lots of tea and now I'm watching Toy Story 3. Ooooh that rhymed ;)
But yeah, I love Toy Story! Its one of the only films that has really good sequels. Usually successful films like Toy Story are great until sequels are made. They're bad when there's more of them because people are like "nothing is as good as the first" but I think number 3 is as good, its actually really funny too!

My God, its results day on Thursday. I'm so worried for it and I haven't even started the sixth form prep...until I get my results I've no idea what I'm actually going to do next year...it all just depends really. I'm a bit stuck with school at the moment...I don't have a clue what I want to do.

ANYWAY, back to Sunnyside Day Care ;)

30 Day Challenge: Day 17

Put your ipod on shuffle, what are the first 10 songs that come up?

  1. Queen of the night - Whitney Houston
  2. Just the way you are - Bruno Mars
  3. Myself - Leona Lewis
  4. Our song - Taylor Swift
  5. Valerie - Amy Winehouse
  6. Agony - Paloma Faith
  7. Skeleton song - Kate Nash
  8. Chasing pavements - Adele
  9. She will be loved - Maroon 5
  10. Obsessions - Marina and the diamonds

Man, I really do have a lot of crap on my ipod, only about 4 of those songs I actually listen to....
I went to Emma's house today which was cool. We went and bought some percy pigs, I swear we still act as if we're about five but ah well, twassss funnnnn!

Will's yesterday was good too. This photo just about sums up the evening:

That photo took a good 10 minutes to upload....shit internet ftw! ;) But yeah, as you can see, we're really hot.

Anywho, that's all for now. I need to go have a bath, our showers broken.FAIL.

YEAH BYEEEE

30 day challenge: Day 16

What is your opinion on your body and how comfortable are you with it?
This question is kind of weird.
To be honest I'm not that comfortable with my body...I guess when you're a teenage you're always really self conscious. Well at least I am, haha! I wouldn't say I'm very comfortable with it at all, I won't go swimming, I know to some people that just seems really silly. I mean I don't have a bad body and I'm lucky because I am naturally quite skinny and have never had to go on a diet or anything but yeah. I should definitely do more exercise, I'm not as skinny as I used to be because well as you get older you grow (obviouslyyyyyyyyyyy ;)) but I think its also because I eat a lot and never really do much exercise, especially since school has finished. There's loads of stuff I could write about this question but over all nah I'm not that comfortable. I think I'm happy when I know I've done exercise and not eaten really badly and if I'm generally just in a good mood that day!

ANYWAY....I'm really hungry. I'm going to Will's later which should be fun AND YEAH. BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

oooh also, its a week until results day........freaaaaaaakinnnnnnnnngggggg outttttttttttttttt

Tuesday, 14 August 2012

30 day challenge: Day 15

What would your death row meal be?
Loads and loads of pasta

I just had to remove some grated cheese from inbetween two of my keyboard keys using tweezers. Yolo.

I had like 12 hours of sleep last night and am feeling much, much better today, wooooo! I went to see Ted yesterday though and it was actually pretty darn funny! I thought it was a really cool film, its so original and like different and yeah, just cool. I'm so good at explaining things...;)

I just read through some of my old posts and oh man, they're beyond lame. I used to write sooooo much pretty much every single day, like every bloody detail of my day. JEEEEEEEZ.

I'm seeing Jess tomorrow which I'm really excited about! I went to hers about a month ago and stayed there for a couple of days, that was awesome, we hadn't seen each other since October! We thought we should meet up again before school starts but it is tricky because we live so far away. In the end we decided we'd meet in the middle. BIRMINGHAM HERE I COME. We're going to go shopping...although having said that I have no money...I'll probably just end up buying food. Ooooh and a book. I really need a new book. It'll be fun going just to see each other, I do love that girl. I'm going to have to get the train alone though, trains sort of scare me...

Anyway, that's the end for now, I'm off to meet Jimmy in a bit......
BI (lol I spelt bye funny)

Monday, 13 August 2012

30 day challenge: Day 14

A photo from last year, have you changed?
I don't think I've physically changed really, I don't look much different there to how I do now!
I think I've got more self conscious which is bad, but I guess that's just what happens as you get older. My attitude towards lots of stuff has changed too, I'm a bit more mature, the word 'mature' sounds really lame and stupid but yeah. But again, stuff like that is just natural as you get older....
Hmm, I'm trying to think of other things. I've definitely become friends with lots of new people which is always good, people I vaguely knew last year are now like my best friends! This is a bit of a down one but I think Emma and I have drifted apart a bit from last year, that's definitely something that's changed. I know that's kind of personal and weird to write in a blog but we've discussed it before, its no biggie ;)
Its weird, at this age things like friendships/relationships can change so quickly. I guess its natural to drift apart from people, its just life I suppose, things can't always be the same because that'd be boring ;)
I've done my GCSE's which is a big thing, its like a massive weight off my shoulders! Hmm, there's loads of things that have changed......I could go on and on...

Man, I am so bored.
I ended up doing nothing at all yesterday, I just spent the whole day watching YouTube videos. I've done nothing all this morning either, I sort of feel ill. I keep sneezing and getting headaches..fun fun! I've also eaten so much this morning, its un real. Now my stomach kinda hurts because of it.....bad Anna! On the bright side I'm going out to the cinema with Ewan in a couple of hours so that'll hopefully lift my spirits! Just a few more hours to kill...
On a completely different note, I'm genuinely sad that the Olympics is over! It was a depressing moment this morning when I went downstairs to find the TV wasn't on and my Dad wasn't sat there avidly watching it. Haha! Its strange, I weirdly enjoyed watching the events and stuff even though I have absolutely no interest in sport. I must say though, the closing ceremony was just weirddddd! I stopped watching after One Direction were on, they disgust me.

This has been long butttttt just one more thing.....I really like this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYb0_sEVBJ4

HAVE A HAPPY MONDAY

Sunday, 12 August 2012

30 day challenge: Day 13

What  are your goals?
I honestly don't really know....I'm awful at these type of questions, haha!
I'd love to be in a play at like a proper theatre. I mean I do plays now but its all amateur stuff, I'd love to be in a really big, proper production. But yeah, other than that I'm not sure. Do well at school I guess (results day soon, oh god) and hopefully get into uni. And just be happppppppppppppppy!
YEAH.

The play went really well the other night so that was kewwwwl. Heather & Holly sang afterwards, their voices are soooooo beautiful, they sang this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcqbxSuS5EU. I'm now completely addicted to it! I'd never heard of Newton Faulkner before but he seems so cool, he has ginger dreadlocks for gods sake! ;) I'm not really doing anything particularly interesting today. Everyone's away. Emma's in Spain, James is in Edinburgh, Ellie's staying at her Aunties house, my Mum's gone away with work. NO ONE IS HERE. Chris and I went to Neros yesterday, I was in such a strange mood. We had loads of chocolate cake so that's probably why and I dunno, there's something about Chris that just brings out a weird mood in me ;) That didn't even make sense.

I watched Angus, thongs & perfect snogging last night, that film never fails to make me laugh...
I think I'm gunna go and try and do something productive, I'll probably just end up watching YouTube videos though.........

Friday, 10 August 2012

30 day challenge: Day 12

What can you not leave your house without?
Vaseline.

Its the last day of play in a week today. I don't know if we're really prepared or not but its okay, it always is in the end, right? We had a bit of  a shit rehearsal yesterday though, everyone was just too hot and tired. Hopefully today'll be better and we'll all be more motivated! We perform this evening and there's going to be  a BBQ and music and yeah. Its going to be gooooood. Its a really lovely day too, yaaaay! I hope it doesn't end up being too hot though, I can never be bothered to do things when its hot. Over all its been a pretty stressful week, I've just been really nervous about the whole thing. I just have to keep saying IT DOESN'T MATTER ANNA, IT WILL BE OKAY and just enjoy doing it.
Not much else to write for today!

Wednesday, 8 August 2012

30 day challenge: Day 11

A quote that you love
"Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"
I don't know who its by or anything and I know its a bit cheesy but its so true and I really believe it. Like I could think of someone as the most vile, ugly person I've seen in the entire world but to someone else that person could be the most beautiful, greatest thing that's ever happened to them. It all just depends. I think that's nice because it shows anyone, no matter what they're like, can be loved, you just have to find the right person. I know this is kind of deep and weird, but yeah. That's me, deep and weird.

SO today play in a week was definitely better. We did a few run through's and I managed to remember my lines (sort of.) It was also fun because James showed us his stand up. Hes doing stand up in Edinburgh on the weekend and wanted to practice in front of people and it just turned out to be really fun. We gave him some good, constructive feedback and laughed a lot. I also bought this really nice flapjack thing from Waitrose, yummmmmmmmm.
Ooooh also, thanks to my lovely friend Jess, my blogger is completely back to normal! Its in English again, wooooo! Because of this I finally managed to change my blog name, its a bit lame but I really didn't know what else to change it to. But yeah. That's that, that's Wednesday. TA TA FOR NOW

30 day challenge: Day 10

What are you afraid of?
Rats
Stomach ache (I have a weird stomach and often get really bad pain and stuff)
Death

I'm not in a very good mood. I'm sooooo tired. I had a busy day yesterday, it was the first day of play in a week and then we all went back to Ellie's afterwards to have dinner and things. Although that's good, I didn't end up getting in until late and then had to be up early for rehearsal again today. I think the reason I'm so tired is also because for weeks now I haven't really had anything to do or work at. But with this the play is pretty long, I have lots of lines and have to actually try hard at making it good. I feel like I've lost like how to be good at acting. Haha, I know that sounds ridiculous but I don't seem to enjoy performing as much and just get really nervous. Maybe it'll be better in a couple of days when we've ran through it a couple of times. I hope so anyway because at the moment I feel a bit out of my depth (again, I sound ridiculous.) I don't really like my character either. Her names Bianca and she's sort of the dumb one out of the group, she's going out with Will's character Harley too which makes it sort of awkward. Will and I are friends and now have to act all luvvy duvvy and dance and hold hands and cuddle. I really should be able to get over this, its silly to be so  awkward about it, after all we're just acting, but I just can't seem to do it very well. I just feel really awkward throughout. Hmmmmmmmm. I really hope tomorrow I can do a better job, I just feel really weird and awkward about the whole play at the moment and i don't want to ruin it for everyone else by just like not doing very well. I sound like James now, I'm being silly, tomorrow'll be okay.

Yeah, that's about it for now. This has been a long blog.
BYE.

Also, I just ate some cheesecake. Cheesecake is literally the best thing ever.

30 day challenge: Day 9

Favourite photo of your best friend(s)
I don't really think I have one person who I'm like "YES THEY'RE MY BEST FRIEND AND NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE THAT." So instead of a photo of just one person here's a photo of multiple best friends ;)
I love this because we all look stupid.

I really hate the name of this blog but thanks to the whole accidentally changing my blogger into a completely different language thing, I don't know how to change it :(

30 day challenge: Day 8

Talk about somewhere you've traveled to and somewhere you would like to go to
My Mum really loves traveling so I've been quite lucky with this sort of thing. I've been around Europe quite a bit and to America and Egypt and the Caribbean. So yaaaaah. Most of the places outside of Europe were when I was younger though but I still go to Spain/Portugal quite a lot because my Mum knows people who have apartments there! I have so many magnets from all of these places, its ridiculous. I used to collect them, haha. Cool kedddddddd.

A place I would like to go to is Paris, I've never been there before and although its not that warm or anything I just think it'd be really cool. Rome is another place I'd love to go to. I really like cities, there's always so much to visit in them! I would also love to go back to Belgium. I went there on a school trip last year and it was so awesome. It'd be great to one day go back with all my friends and just have a laugh ;)

I'm doing nothing at all today. People were going to see ice age but I've never seen the other 3 so thought it'd be a bit pointless. Instead I played cards with my brother and ate pringles. GO ME.

30 day challenge: Day 7

Things that make you happy
I did a list of 'things that make me happy' a while back so this is probably just a repeat of this..but ah well. If the 30 day challenge says to do it, I'm doing it. ;)

  • Ron Pope songs
  • Sprinkleofglitter videos
  • Books
  • Friends episodes
  • Skype calls
  • Jewellry
  • Funny jokes
  • Hugs
  • Pasta
  • Being in plays/seeing plays
  • People who talk a lot
  • Seeing someone you haven't seen in ages

These are all really cheesy so I'm just going to stop.
Yeah, byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

30 day challenge: Day 6

Pet Peeves
I've never really thought of myself as the type of person who gets annoyed really, really easily. Having said that, my friends would probably disagree ;) butttttttttttttt I did manage to come up with a few 'pet peeves.' Quite a lot considering I didn't think there was much to get annoyed at......

  1. When people use you to impress others
  2. When people upload a photo of themselves to Facebook and title it "do you think I look good in this?"
  3. Pretentiousness (didn't think that was a word hah)
  4. The feel of cotton wool
  5. People who spit
  6. Hypocrites
  7. Arrogance
  8. Stomachs (that's kind of a weird one but I am weird so ya know)
  9. When someone uses 'you're' or 'your' in the wrong context
I won't write anymore because I'm getting annoyed just thinking about it! Hahah.

It is currently raining a lot, its been on and off all day. Its okay though because I went to the cinema was Al so the weather didn't really matter. We went to see the Dark Knight Rises. To be honest I didn't really enjoy it that much. I mean it was great seeing Alice since I hadn't in a while, but the actual film I didn't really understand. I hadn't ever seen the two others so didn't really know what was going on! Fail. But it was fun anyways.
Haven't really got much planned for the rest of this week but Play In A Week is next week which I'm reallllllllllly excited for! It'll be good to have something to do, I mean I do stuff at the moment but something to work at I guess. That sounds incredibly nerdy, but I mean I guess I'm so used to being at school and having an aim. Doing this is definitely something with an aim because we have to make the play something people will want to actually come and watch. It should be good also because I haven't been doing plays and rehearsal and stuff since The Grandfathers back in March, so it'll be a change and cool to be doing it all again. I'm considering doing Drama for A level......but I'm not sure, it all depends on results I guess. I do love Drama though, the only trouble is the teachers are awful at my school. But it could be okay.....I'll see. I'm absolutely dreading results day, just trying not to think about it.

Anyway, this has been long. I'm really getting into blogging again!

30 day challenge: Day 5

What song inspires you?
I honestly really don't know; I have loads of favourite songs but I wouldn't say there's any that particularly inspire me. But I don't think any one thing really does. If this were "what inspires you?" I still really wouldn't know what to put....hm, bit crap at this aren't I ;) I guess I could just say my favourite song? Although that is still difficult because they change weekly! If I had to choose one though, at the moment, it would probably be 'Beautiful goodbye' by Maroon 5. In fact their whole new album 'Overexposed' is just fabbbb! I love the tone of Adam Levine's (I think that's his name?) voice, he's just brill! But I think my over all favourite song is probably 'You could be happy' by Snow Patrol. Its really depressing and cheesy but I just think its beautiful.

I have literally done nothing today. I left the house briefly this morning to go on a walk, I always try to just walk around where I live a bit in the mornings. I don't mean like walk around my garden or something...haha! I mean like because I live in a village there's loads of little country roads and fields and stuff. So yeah, basically, I left the house to walk but other than that have done nothing at all. Fun timezzz. It hasn't even been that bad, I watched tons of YouTube vidoes and watched some of the Olympic diving on the telly. I also played on the xbox with my brother on some game called 'Portal' it was quite fun, it really reminded me of Doctor Who. Ooooh I got Twitter too! No one reads this buttttttt just incase I'm @Anna_Mullins111
I had to have a load of 1's because all the other usernames were taken. Lolfail. But yes, I'm a complete Twitter newbie, I have about 5 followers and have no idea how to use it. But whatevvsssssss, I'll get there! ;)

Anyway, that's that. I've done pretty well sticking to this 30 day challenge! POST  TOMOZZA

30 day challenge: Day 4

Tell us about your parents:
My Dad's called Paul and my Mum's called Jane.
My Dad's a biology teacher at a posh school but he doesn't really enjoy it
My Mum loves her job and works loads. She's a social worker but does loads of stuff in court and things, I don't even know, its all quite complicated. She's on the phone a lot.
My Dad stresses out about little things in life and my Mum is the most eccentric crazy person I've ever met, sometimes I wonder how they ever got together...
The best day of their lives was most definitely October 27th 1995 (I was born then lol)

Not much else to say about them.
Today was nice. Emma and I went on a bitch walk and we talked about Chris and results day and what we think will be happening in a years time and what it would be like to be old. We also saw Heather and had a chat with her from across the road, it was funny. I love Emma. Hi Emma if you're reading this ;)

I have to go to the hospital on Tuesday, I really don't want to.

30 day challenge: Day 3

Tell us about your first love:
I don't think I've ever been in love so I'm not gunna answer this.

Well, this is awkward ;)

The time is 10:47 and I woke up this morning at half 5, it was ridiculous. I have done nothing productive whatsoever. Nothing at all, apart from watch Charlieissocoollike and the Vlogbrothers on YouTube.
I've got to go to this little town on a 'family outing' today. Eurghhhhh. It shouldn't be too bad I guess, its a nice day and we're going to have a picnic. I'm going to Ellie's for dinner tonight too so that's something to look forward to. We're having a little dinner party. Cool kedz.

30 day challenge: Day 2

What are your nicknames?
Annie
Mull
Sexy Babe (although that was more last year)
Pan (my Mum calls me that! hahaha)

Hahahha, they're all so weird!

Man, I have a really bad headache.

30 day challenge: Day 1

Recent picture of yourself & 15 interesting facts

Not particularly attractive or nuffin' but yeah....that's me...that's a recent photo.

Okay I can't guarantee any of these facts will be interesting in the slightest but here goes:
  1. My names Anna and my middle name is Kate
  2. I'm 16....only 3 months until my 17th though! Scarryy stufff
  3. I like to nap and read lots of books
  4. Friends (the tv show) is literally the best thing ever in my opinion
  5. I'm a complete wuss
  6. I've just done my GCSE'S and am hoping to go to sixth form and do a levels next year
  7. I love Drama and acting and stuff
  8. I talk....a lot.
  9. I absolutely love Maroon 5 and also Ed Sheeran!
  10. I have 'intense emotions' ;) and tend to miss people a lot.
  11. I'm a regular tea drinker
  12. I get cold extremely easily
  13. I'm really self conscious and seem to get embarrassed a lot
  14. I love food.

Reading back, most of those facts were just stupid private jokes/really boring things. Ah well, it's late and I'm tired.

French people are beautiful

So I've managed to change my whole blogger into a completely different language. I've no idea exactly how I've done this......its like Chinese or something. The only way I've managed to actually get on the right page to be writing this is through clicking the 'translate to English' button. This still, however doesn't solve the whole problem and every time I click on a new page its just the weird language again. Hmmmm. The messes I get into. I'll be getting a lot of use out of that 'translate to English' button until I find out what I've actually done...

ANYWAY as you can tell by the title unless you read it completely wrong or something.....I've been to France, I got back just a few hours ago. I went to the South of France, Nice to be specific!

It was lot's of fun. The people, the food, the buildings, everything there is just beautiful. Here are some photos:

Although it was a lovely place and everything, Mum and I complained a lot about it being too hot and Dad complained about everything being too expensive. Us Brits can never go away without complaining about something! ;) But it was a good trip all the same. I do get very homesick though so it's great to be back. Especially great since the sun is shining! Woooooooooooooo.
I vlogged a bit whilst I was there, really only to show my Granddad the nice scenery and anyone else in my family who's interested. Although I might end up uploading some clips to YouTube, some of its is quite funny!

So tomorrow I'm hoping to ring this local piano company up to look into having lessons. I'm so desperate to learn and it'll be one thing off my summer to do list! The other thing off the list is my laptop is finally fixedddd wooooooo (second 'wooo' in one blog..it must be a good day ;)) I can't really be bothered to go into the whole long story about how/when it finally got fixed. The point is...its fixed and I'm sooooo ridiculously happy! I can finally Skype and watch YouTube videos and listen to music allllll day long again! A great time to do it too because GCSE's are over and I have nothing better to do!

Now that my laptop is back I can blog more so I was thinking (totally, totally copying Heather!) but that I could do the '30 day challenge' blogs. Basically 30 questions over 30 days that you base posts around. I think it'd be really cool and it'd give me a drive to actually write these posts because I never seem to have anything interesting to say anymore. So yes. I may do that......I may not. Who knows!

Post soon anyway, hopefully in a couple of days for the beginning of the 30 day challenge!
xxxxxxxxx

Ooooh. One final thing. After going to see Spiderman, I have completely and utterly fallen in love with Andrew Garfield. OMG HE IS SO FREAKIN GORGEOUS. And on that note, I willllll finally shushhhhh! ;)

Friday, 22 June 2012

Hi

So exams are practically over, I only have one left wooooooop wooooooop!!

It's kinda weird, I really miss school and everyone and it is strange not being there but at the same time ITS SUMMER AND IM EXICTEDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!! I sound so lame with all these exclamation marks. Anyway, yes. Okay. I haven't blogged in while hmmmmmmmm. Since then I've done about 10 exams, some better than others. I just really, really want to have done well and am already having nightmares about the dreaded results day ;) All you can do is try your best though right? And that's what I have done, its only gcses, there's always re takes.

I had such a lovely day today. Emma, Ellie, Becky and I all just sat in neros catching up  for agesss, it was a laugh and I've been feeling pretty lonely just on my own at home all day revising so it was awesome to see people other than like my Mum, haha! Tomorrow should be good too, we're going to pizza hut and then to see Heather's play. Can't wait, I love watching plays. How sad.

PROM IS SOON TOO.
Prom is on Thursday and I'm not gunna lie, I'm pretty darn excited! I've had mixed views on it really because it is a lottttt of money and a lotttt of hype and hassle over one evening but now that its so close and everything's been arranged I can just relax and look forward to it! Although I still haven't really decided what to do with my hair or as I like to call it "the mess." ;) I think I need to get it cut. Its so gross at the moment! It should be really awesome though and afterwards we're all camping at Ellies. Yayyyyyyyy! I've never actually camped before, I'm not exactly an outdoorsey (making up new words, yolo) type of person so it should be a laugh. I'll probably end up sleeping inside or something....hahahah.

I haven't actually got many plans for the summer. I just wanna enjoy it and savour not having any work to do as much as possible! I'm going to Nice for a couple of days with my parents and hopefully camping with the friendies but that's about it really. I think Bessie might be having a bonfire/campout thing too so that should be awesome. Hopefully it'll be nice and sunny! I'm also really looking forward to sixth form which is kinda weird because its just the sixth form at my school, its not a major change or anything but it'll still be exciting. I'm only wanting to take three subjects, all things I'm really into. No more PE or Science or Mathssss! Ah, its such a good feeling be able to say that!
Some things I really do want to do over summer areeeeeee
1) GET MY FRICKIN LAPTOP FIXED
Okay so we packed my poor laptop off to PC world monthsssssss ago, it still hasn't been fixed. They haven't got the right parts or something and it is literally taking forever. I'm having to use the house laptop all the time which really annoys my brothers....just gotta keep those fingers crossed and hope it gets fixed reallll soon. I miss it.
2) GET A JOB
This one speaks for itself really. I really need a job. The trouble is I live in the country side, at least a 15 minute drive away from the town, its bloody annoying and means having a job in the town would be difficult to get to! There's a couple of pubs around where I live so I might try out there. Again, its just fingers crossed! I'd love to have a job and really need some moneys.
3) START LEARNING HOW TO PLAY THE PIANO
Again this one  speaks for itself really, I'm gunna start piona lessons hopefully. It'd be so cool to learn and I've always wanted to!
Wow, this has been long, my fingers hurt (that sounded dogey but I didn't intend for it to, promise)

Post soon anyway. Have a fabadab weekend!

feeling better

Haiiii dere.

So I didn't feel well yesterday so that was bad. I hardly slept on Friday night cuz I had such a bad headache and then yesterday I was like "euuurghhhhhhh" and just ended up sleeping. I didn't do any revision which I felt bad about and I also forgot to meet Chris. Chris doesn't even read this but just in case SORRY CHRIS, haha. I think another reason I felt ill was because of the heat. We've been having like flawless days in the UK lately which is great although it is really, really hot. But ah well, its better than it being freezing cold! ;)

I don't really know what else to write. We're all on study leave at the moment, I've already done 9 exams? I think anyway...and I have about 11 left. Almost half way through!!!!!! Hahaha, its not as bad as I thought it would be, you sort of get into the stride of it I suppose. I only have 3 exams this week and that's its half term so its not too bad. It'll be over in less than a month and then summmmmmerrrrrr and prom. I'm half looking for prom and then half not. Its such a hassle getting everything ready but it should be really fun and everything, it'll be good to be with everyone and yeahhhhh.

I'm meeting Ewan soon so I better go get ready or something.

Yeah.

This has been a really awkward blog.
Tumblr_m4kh31ieyi1qd60sao1_500_large

Hahahahaha this reminded me of me and this blog. Sorry, our relationship is falling due to lack of effort from me. I love you, always. ;)

Pahhaa, I'm soooo weird

ANYWAAAAYYYYY POST SOON PEEEEEPZ, HAPPY SUNNY SUNDAYYYYYYYY (alliteration ftw)

lots of cheesiness

I haven't blogged in a while. Soz peepz ;)

I haven't had access to a laptop for ages because mine has been sentt off for repairs, I'm currently using my Mum's laptop and I'm meant to just be revising on it. I did a few little test things on BBC bitesize so that counts as revision! We've been back at school for almost a month since my last post, crazzzyy shit man! Although thanks to Bank Holiday's and stuff we've had a few welcomed days off! :) It's been a hectic (I love that word) month really, we all scuttled off to Warwick last weekend (read more about that on Emma's blog) it was so much fun and we did workshops and got to perform the Grandfathers again! I'm really gunna miss that play and everyone who was in it, but you never know, we could end up getting to the National. We worked so hard on it and it turned out pretty good. Emma wrote in her blog about one of the plays we saw called 'Little Foot' genuinely it was amazinnggg. I would have paid good money to go see that! Haha, the acting was just great and it was really sinister and cool.

EXAMS START FRICKIN TOMORROW.
A part of me is glad about this because I think when we start we'll get into the swing of it and then they'll all be over and then we get agessssss off for summer! God I cannot wait until summer. I haven't even got that much planned, it'll just be awesome to not have to do work for ages! Although I do want to get a job so I guess that counts as work but even so, it'll be exciting! General studies is our first exam and I'm, along with I think everyone else, ridiculously unprepared for it! We only had 4 prep lessons for it and they were months ago, I mean it's only general studies but I don't want to completely fail it. I'm not one of those people who's like "no I can't get anything below an A" because I know I will get C's. What I'm aiming for is a some C's in subjects I'm hopeless in (business studies, maths) and then B's and A's in the rest! FINGERSSSSS CROSSSSSSEDDDD. You can only try your best though I guess, I feel pretty prepared for some subjects though which is always good.

We had our leavers assembly thingy on Friday even though we're not on proper study leave for another couple of weeks. It's suddenly dawned on me that although, me and most of my best friends are coming back to the same sixth form next year, some people aren't. And most of my friends aren't taking any of the same subjects as me. Its gunna change loadsssssss next year! Immy is leaving which is so sad, I've known her since year 7 and have always been in at least 1 lesson with her over the years. To go from that to not seeing her at all is so strangeeeee! Ellie's also leaving, again I've known her since year 7 and we've always been in the same form, its gunna be really sad. Haha, this is all so cheesy but its true, I feel like we're all suddenly becoming really grown up, in a years time I'm almost gunna be 18!!!!!! And I can learn to drive in October :S its so scaarrryy. I feel like just yesterday I was writing this blog for the first time at the beginning of year 10, how things have changed!

This has been really long. I will post next time I have access to a computer and there's something interesting to say! It'll most likely be after exams, ooooh that's a nice thougt! ;)

Anyway, back to biteeeesizzzzeeeeee!
