Draw a stick man, go on, you know you want to

So today I found this awesome site http://www.drawastickman.com/ click on it and it'll make you smile and go "aww thats cute" ;)

hahah! Anyway, I haven't blogged all week, well not all week but you know. Since Monday. It's just been school really, how freakin dull. Let's not make this dull let's make this super amazingly interesting. Okay so there's been drama too, we're performing the Grandfathers not next week but the one after, how scarrrrryyy. Ooooh there's a TRAILER too! How cool! Another scary thing is that I have a maths exam on Monday. The amount of times I've mentioned this on my posts is ridiculous but I feel I need to acknowledge it again. I HAVE A MATHS EXAM ON MONDAY PEOPLE, just to inform you ;)
I'm sort of nervous, sort of. But I feel pretty prepared, as long as I get a C then that's totally fine! It was really lovely on Wednesday, Chris and I bought loads of chocolate from iceland (cool keds) and then went and ate in this little garden place. It was so beautiful in there and the sun was shining! It was fun fun funnn and he helped me with maths and I laughed at him. Then we popped off to rehearsal. Good times bro ;)

So I'm going to the cinema with my Mum this evening to watch a subtitled film. I don't even know what its called let alone the plot, ah well I'm sure I'll soon find out. She's really into subtitled/ foreign films, they're quite interesting I guess.. we're also going to dinner, wow its like I'm going on a bloody date with my Mum.. haha!

Oooh she just told me we need to leave. I best go.
Thanks for reading
have a fabulous fun filled weekend ;)

a blog before drama

Why hello there!
So I've gotta go to drama soon but I thought I'd do a quick blog before I pop off! ;)

This past weekend has been brill.
I went to London woooooooooo. I do love London although obviously its incredibly busy alllllll the time! I was there on Saturday afternoon when the rugby was on so the streets and the pubs and the shops and pretty much every where was full of people. I went there with my Mum and we stayed with my cousin. I'd never visited her house before so it was pretty cool, then we got the the tube into the centre. The tube scares me. I guess if you lived in London like they do you get totally used to it but for me a country girl (hahahahhahha ;)) it's pretty intimidating. Its a good experience though. Going to London for me is almost like going to a completely different country. The lifestyle is soooo different to where I live so its nice to be able to get to go. Anyway yeah, me and mother went to Soho and China town. Not gunna lie, again Soho was pretty scary! It was just full of shifty looking people and sex shops. My mum was keen to go see what it was like though...that sounds really weird but yeah, she thought it'd be a good experience. China town was awesome though, we went to this restaurant and guess what it sold!?!? Chinese food. Hahah, I'm not that into trying different foods but I'm not particularly fussy either so I did enjoy it. We ate duck and seaweed, that part wasn't great...but then we had rice and chicken and stuff which was pretty cool. Although obviously we were in London not China it was pretty authentic and again soo different to where I live!
Then in the evening we went to see Wicked! I saw the Wizard of Oz in the west end last year and lovedddddd it so it was cool to get to see the prequel to it. I won't give away the story line but it was fantastic. I seriously recommend it to anyone who likes theatre or musicals, it was just great and really well done. The setting and the lighting and everything was amazing!
On Saturday night we stayed at my cousins house and loads more of my cousins came round the next day! A lot of them live in London so we don't see them that often so it was nice. We got in about 8 last night and I was exhhhasssttedd! I slept really well though and was all ready for school bright & early this morning! ;) Despite having to stand around in the cold for a year photo thing and P.E, today has actually been alright, it could have been worse ;)

Anyway, enough of my meaningless rambles about school and London.
I'm going to be late for drama at this rate!

Post soon, hope you're having a wonderful Monday :)

"If people were rain, I would be drizzle and she would be a hurricane.”

Oh hi there!
So I got home today to a wonderful letter from Emma! Oh, I love her. Haha, she knows me so well, I loveeeee getting things in the post. How sad...but yeah it was so funny and she put this cute picture of her when she was little in there. THANKS EMMA BABES ;)

Hehe, anyway this morning I woke up and I wasn't actually going to go into school, I haven't been too well this past couple of days. I think its just general exhaustion plus I have a bit of a cold, by like half 9 though I felt better and bad that I wasn't in school so my kind mother gave me a lift in! Today's not been bad, 2 hours of Drama is always a laugh and luckily I missed most of History wooooo

I finished reading Looking for Alaska last night, honestly if you've never read that book go go go read it now! Hahaha, although the plot in itself is very simple it is so sooooo beautifully written (as you can see by the title quote!) It's about this girl called Alaska (obviously ;)) who is so troubled and interesting, Miles (the narrator of the whole book) falls in love with her when he meets her at boarding school, although that's nothing new 'guy falls in love with girl blaahhh' it is so different to anything I've read/seen before. I'm no pro at books or literature or anything but I seriously loved this. Its moving and funny and just great.

Sorry, I'll stop going on about that now......it was my Nan's 91st birthday on Saturday so we all went and had dinner at this place near my Uncles house. It was nice to see all my family although I was so so tired. I was pretty anti social most of the time just reading Looking for Alaska. Haha, well done Anna ;)
Then on Sunday I went on a walk with Ewan and Chris, it was freakinnnn funny until we got back and my Dad had a rage because I was really late. It was one of those cringe moments where your parents have a go at you in front of your friends. I guess he had valid reason to though, we were 45 minutes late....

Anywho, hope you're having a great pancake day!

I've had the nicest day :)

Hellllllooo
So I haven't blogged in a while but more on that in a minute....
Let's talk about today. Today's been lovely :)
A whole group of us went to see The Muppets, I literally laughed all the way through that film. I sat next to Ewan, I don't think I've ever really mentioned him but yeah, he's one funny guy ;) It was nice seeing people outside of school who you wouldn't normally see! And then afterwards everyone chatted and tings. James pretended he was in the new Street Dance film. Don't askkkk haha. It was just fun. Then the crew plus this guy called Gordon went to pizza hut. It was gooood, pizza is awesome. We also ate cookie dough and Chris kept tickling me until I fell under the table. Fun times ;) after all the pizza and food and arguing over the bill we were all pretty tired but still had this arts workshop thing to go do! Perfect circle were doing a devised piece of theatre there so we thought we'd go and see. It was called 'regrets' and although it only lasted about 20 minutes it was actually really funny. James was a bit down all day and that cheered him up so that was good :) And then when I got in I spoke to my Mum for a bit. That doesn't seem like a particularly nice thing or anything but I hadn't seen her in days as I've been at my Nan's and she's been working a lot so it was nice to catch up and just generally appreciate her presence ;)

That's been my day really.
As for other things, half terms been prettty busy. Saturday was my National Youth Theatre audition thing, it was really good experience doing it, meeting new people and things. I had to do a monologue in the afternoon which didn't go too well but I wasn't really expecting to get in or anything, it was just fun to have gone! I met this guy, he's name was Lewis but he spelt it like "Luis" How. Cool.
I won't fill you in on all the other days because there's been a lot, I could write an essay ;) but the stuff has been good, I went to my Nan's for a bit purely because my uncle was staying with her. I have a maths exam in a few weeks and since he's a maths teacher I thought he'd be of some help ;) We spent like 2 days going over things and I feel prepared. It's so good to like have people around me who are always willing to help, (THIS SOUNDS RIDICULOUSLY CHEESY) but I am very lucky to have nice friends and family who will listen to me moan and help me out and stuff. Wow, I better stop. This is faarrrr too sentimental.

We go back to school on Monday and everything is go gooo goooo. We perform the Grandfathers soon and Blackout and Maths exams and all of that. I'm also going to London next weekend. Everyfin's so busy lyk ;)
Hahah!

Anyway, this has been extremely rambly, thank you for reading and don't worry about a thing be happppppppppyyyy

^I don't know why I wrote that ;)

So much to doooooooooooo

So I am currently sitting in my room watching the rain falllll down. Interesting eh!? The snow was been and gone by Sunday afternoon but rumours have been going round that it's meant to snow tonight! ;) a part of me wishes it will because well its a day off, however I have to get to my National Youth audition on Saturday and if there's snow it will make that very difficult. I guess we'll all just see what happens...

Anyway, things have been pretty hectic this week. I've been set a ridiculous amount of work to do over half term, I keep saying this to people and then never actually bothering to do the work. Ha, I will do it. I will. But yeah, I am pleased for the week off but it is frustrating, its like they can't give us a break. The days are just going to be filled with me doing homework ;) But oh wellllllllllllllllll, it'll all be over in July ;) hahaha.

Also this week there's been rehearsal and tings which are getting busy as we're performing in like a month. Scarrrrryyy, it seems like just yesterday I was writing a post about how I got in ;) I really need to learn my lines for that. I still haven't really. Well done Anna. When people talked about year 11 and how busy/bad/stressful it would be I never really believed them but oh it is. Haha, there's so much to think about, not just with school work but with life in general, everything's a bit crazy at da mo lol ;)

Now although this quote:
Scaled_large
is incredibly cheesy its in some ways trueeee to life. Pete and I split up on Monday and although its sad I guess you just have to think of things like this, some people just aren't really worth your time, you may as well focus on the ones who are and enjoy life as much as you can. NO REGRETS PEEPZ haha. Sorry, this was getting too deep, I had to say something stupid.

I am so hungry and have been writing for a while. I may stop now. Yeah, yeah I will.

Hope you're having a wonderful unstressful week unlike me ;) hehe!

Snow is falling all around us...

Yes, I am fully aware that the title to this is a Christmas song but I promise you it's true. Look, I even took some photos to prove it

Hehe! Everyone's getting snow today and oh its awesome. It's such a novelty, I'll admit I didn't really want it to snow, I was sort of like "oh I can't be bothered with it" but when it actually comes you can't help but get a bit excited because of it ;) I'll also admit, other than this afternoon when I went and met James in neros and 5 minutes ago when I went and took those photos, I haven't been out in it at all. Earlier on my Dad kept throwing snow balls at my window in an act to try and pull me off of my laptop and get me to come and appreciate it. I'm ashamed to say I stayed in my room for most of the afternoon. Anti social Anna. Actually in fairness I was being social, I was talking to people on Facebook ;) but even so I do feel a bit silly for not going out in it.

Ah well, I went out in it just then and despite it being freezing it was very nice. :)

So other than the snow nothing much has been happening since my last post. WHAT A SURPRISE
I finished the first Hunger Games book. I think that's probably the first book I've ever read in less than a week. Haha, all the taking my book everywhere did pay off though, it was such a good book. I'm on the second one now, I don't really know what to think of it so far, I'm only on the first chapter but I'll be sure to mention it in my next bloggggggg!

I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow, may not be able to get anywhere if the snow keeps falling but we'll see, we'll see, all I know is that I want to make a snowman.

Hope you're having a lovely snow filled weekend ;)

May the odds be ever in your favour

Helllooo.
Its been way too long since I did a blog. It's been so long in fact that I'm struggling on how/what to write in this. Haha.
I guess I should start on what's been happenin' in maaaa lyfe!
I'm sure you're interested in that.
Well to be honest, its just been the complete usual. Rehearsal, singing lessons, meeting with the crew, exams. I had a mock English exam last week which was horrible. I really want to take English language for A level but that exam did put me off it! Haha, I guess I'll get used to it though, I'm just being a drama queen ;) Speaking of A level we have to hand our application forms in on Friday with the subjects we want to do on them. This concerns me. I know a couple of subjects I want to do but the other two I really don't know, I may only even take three. It's annoying though because everyone else you talk to at school is like "yeah yeah I'm doing this and this and this" I still have no clue ;) Ah well, I'll think of subjects I wanna do soon enough! It is difficult though because what you take at A level does impact your future, wow that sounded dramatic! But it does, I dunno, maybe it doesn't. Maybe the teachers have just drilled that into our heads and really what you take at A level doesn't effect your future. I'm not sure, even so whatever I take I'll have to study for another 2 years. I better pick the right things ;)

Anywayyy I will stop rambling about A level! It's February half term soon which is bloody awesomeee. Although I have a maths exam straight after so revision for that must go on. Hahah but even so its a week off, a much needed week off ;) Also in half term its my National Youth Theatre audition woooop wooooop. I can't believe how fast the times gone since I was first writing a post about applying for an audition! Time flies when you're having fun, or at least time flies when you're at school ;) Talking of time flying I cannot bloody believe its February already. I swear it was Christmas like yesterday? Obvvvsss notttt. But it is weird how quickly this year is going!

So I just got majorly distracted from this post by a combination of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=duT3zKddGdk&feature=g-u-u&context=G23bef8fFUAAAAAAAMAA and this photo:

I really want one of those cookies now and to learn how to play the ukulele ;)

Okay, sorry, I have such a short attention span. Haha, ooh I know what I'll mention, the title! People who have ever read/heard of the Hunger Games will probably recognize the title. And yes, yes I know everyone's already read the Hunger Games, I'm pretty late to jump on the band wagon but even so I'm reading them now and oooooh its awesome! I'm only on page like 100 and something of the first book but so far its pretty darn good. I've turned into one of those nerds who seeks every opportunity to read their book, whether it's at school in the middle of a lesson (I did that yesterday and my teacher thought I was on my phone, he was surprised to see I was actually reading a book) or on the bus I'm reading it. Hahaha, I'm one of those people that, as much as they enjoy the actual book, likes to finish it quickly? If that makes any sense! Like I already just want to know what happens in the end. Wow, I sound like an impatient bitch ;) but anyway back to the point, it is a good book so far and I can't wait until the film comes out! Again, impatient bitch.

All I ever seem to talk about in these posts is myself, I mean I know that's the point and all but yeah. I think I'll be quiet now, you're probably fed up with reading about my life. ;)

Until next time have a wonderful February!
